Hello blue friends!
My name is Kevin Harvey and I am the founder of SoarBlue!
Back in 2017, i decided I had to do more than just be a voter. I had voted for Democrats since I was 18 years old, but it had become apparent that just going to vote each election cycle wasn't enough. That year I volunteered for my first local campaign and helped ever free second I had canvassing and phone banking. The candidate I helped won and it was very satisfying knowing I played a part in helping them get elected.
I also joined Moms Demand, because I was upset and concerned about the gun violence epidemic in our country, and was inspired by the tireless work Shannon Watts was doing to make our communities safer. I was very active in the group and became a membership lead in the Northwest Arkansas chapter. It was again satisfying and rewarding knowing I was making an imact on an issue I was passionate about fixing.
Finally, in that same year I created a company called SoarBlue. My mission was to create positive impactful apparel and accessories that would bring awareness to social issues and hopefully expand our blue village, while donating a portion of the profits back to liberal organizations fighting the good fight. One of the slogans for Moms Demand is "Keep Going" and during these difficult days, weeks, months and years ahead we must KEEP GOING!
